Mr. Tan Aik Hock is the Chief Executive of Daxin Marine, where he leads the company’s strategic direction, major commercial developments, and operational integration across the group’s fuel trading, marine and environmental services platforms. With over two decades of experience in international maritime and energy sectors, Mr. Tan is widely recognized for his entrepreneurial acumen, cross-border business leadership, and deep-rooted commitment to cultural heritage and community development.
Mr. Tan began his early professional journey in insurance. He quickly distinguished himself within the industry in Singapore. Soon after, he ventured into the fuel trading industry and evolved from a small-scale fuel distribution firm into a dynamic enterprise offering integrated fuel oils trading, delivery logistics, and environmental recycling services. His forward-looking approach, strong risk management principles, is key to Daxin Marine navigating the complex regional marketplace – sailing to ever new heights. In recent years, Mr. Tan has spearheaded strategic partnerships with regional and international counterparts, his ability to connect operational expertise with long-term vision has positioned us as a rising force in the region’s maritime ecosystem.
Beyond the commercial domain, Mr. Tan is deeply respected for his leadership in the cultural and social spheres. He served as President of the Lam Ann Association; and in his late 40s, he became the youngest SFCCA President, where he championed the revitalization of traditional associations and youth engagement. Under his leadership, the federation strengthened its mission to preserve Chinese heritage while remaining relevant to a new generation. His leadership is underpinned by a personal philosophy that blends commercial discipline with moral clarity: anchored in the values of loyalty, integrity, and moral virtue.
Today, Mr. Tan continues to guide our expansion with a dual focus on sustainable growth and social responsibility. He is admired not only as a successful entrepreneur but also as a bridge between business, culture, and the community — someone who understands that real leadership is measured not by profit, but by purpose.
